A plant-based, mission focused cafe in Eugene, Oregon.
We got our start in April 2020, when a couple of furloughed restaurant workers began cooking and serving free lunches in response to rising food insecurity during the pandemic.
Acorn Community Cafe opened in April 2021 to expand our efforts toward sustainable, equitable access to quality food.
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT
Acorn Community Cafe is a vegan cafe and food resource in Eugene, Oregon. We sell healthful and wholesome plant-based breakfast and lunch, baked goods, coffee, smoothies and milkshakes, and offer a daily lunch option - the Blue Plate Special - free of charge on request.
Acorn Community Cafe is working with the
86 Hunger Foundation, a nonprofit currently running three programs from the cafe: the Blue Plate Project, the Free Market Project, and the Community Partner Project.
